Polypropylene Bassoon made by Fox that has the Conn name/stamp/stencil on it and is the same as the model III (3). It is a long bore design with many extras: High D, High E, 13 rollers, low C thumbplate, crutch, plateau key for left third finger for easier reach, 2 Fox bocals- hand selected, and decent original case. Truly a beautiful bassoon in every respect. I believe this to be from the late 70's or early 80's. Pictures available. Asking $3,250.00 US and I my consider an offer or a trade/offer. Also, 2 plastic Linton Bassoons that are in playing condition but need attention to be in top shape. $ 650.00 each or I will consider an offer for both. Eichentopf Baroque bassoon ca. 1725 by Olivier Cottet;
Serial number is unknown,
approximately 25 - 30 years old. Five wooden sections in dark stained
curly maple with cork and thread tenons, five brass keys, the fifth
wooden section is a second wing section executed in boxwood.
Repair evident on F and Ab keys on
boot joint, two brass crooks. In very good overall condition, very
little wear on the keywork or on the wood finish.

This bassoon is in excellent
condition. Serial number 14956, made in July of 1971. Schreiber told me that
this bassoon is the equivalent of what is now the 5071 Artist Model. It has
professional keywork to high D. It was just serviced which included a full
repad, cleaning and polish, and tune up and adjustment. This bassoon plays
like new, and is in great cosmetic condition.
