From an email we received: Bill Jobert, who served on Wright State University's faculty last year as adjunct bassoon instructor, has been named Professor of Bassoon and Music Education.  In addition to teaching bassoon lessons, woodwind methods, and coordinating the instrumental student teaching program, the newly created position includes conducting the WSU Concert Band and playing in the faculty woodwind quintet.  Jobert holds degrees in music education from the University of Georgia where he studied with
 Dr. William Davis and in bassoon performance from the Eastman School of Music where he studied with John Hunt.  Jobert serves as principal bassoonist and personnel manager for the Lebanon Symphony Orchestra and teaches a large studio of high school bassoonists in Southwestern Ohio.  For more information about the double reed programs at WSU contact Bill at 513 594 3498 or
